What memberships do I need to compete at a Trillium Show in the North East Zone?
You need the following memberships. Note that you must have your memberships prior to the start of the show or points will not be accumulated and you will be subjected to fines.
Also pay attention to your class requirements to determine whether you need a Silver or Bronze EC membership. When in doubt, Silver grants access to all classes & divisions.
Vaccination Requirements
Your horse will need to be vaccinated to attend NETHJA horse shows. The required vaccines are: Equine Influenza & Equine Herpes (1&4) Virus within 6 months of the show. No horse shall be vaccinated within 7 days of showing.
If you will be showing at the Championships, you will need a Coggins test.
In the case of a horse that is unable to receive either of the vaccines, a letter from a veterinarian on official letterhead must be provided with the entry form, stating the horse cannot be vaccinated due to medical concerns. At the discretion of competition management, a log of the horse’s temperature prior to arrival at the event site or during the event can be requested.
